Booking Terms

These terms apply when you book a Stayzia property directly through this website, by email, by phone or by WhatsApp.

Who you book with

The website is operated by HANDY MAN MIJAS SL, CIF B56632151, C Jose Orbaneja 61, 16, 29649 Mijas Calahonda, Málaga, Spain. Some homes are owned by us and others are managed directly for trusted owners.

Each property is treated as its own accommodation. The property page, written confirmation and payment record together form the main booking details.

Bookings and payment

  • A booking is confirmed only when payment is completed and we send written confirmation.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store full card details.
  • Prices are shown in euros and include the nightly rate and cleaning fee shown before checkout.
  • If a payment succeeds after the dates have become unavailable, we will cancel the booking and arrange a refund.

Security deposit

Each property may require a refundable security deposit. The amount is shown on the property and booking pages. Unless agreed otherwise, the deposit is pre-authorised at check-in and is not charged unless there is damage, missing items, unpaid extras or a serious breach of the house rules.

Guests and use of the property

  • The property may only be used by the guests included in the booking, up to the maximum occupancy shown on the listing.
  • Parties, events, commercial shoots and subletting are not allowed unless we agree in writing first.
  • Guests must respect community rules, quiet hours, pool rules, waste rules and any property-specific instructions provided before or at check-in.
  • Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves, visitors or pets where pets have been approved.

Check-in, check-out and access

Standard check-in is 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Standard check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early arrivals and late check-outs depend on the calendar and must be agreed in writing.

A member of the Stayzia team or an approved local representative may need access during a stay for urgent maintenance, safety issues, inspections required by law, or agreed services such as cleaning.

Cancellations and changes

The standard cancellation policy is set out on our Cancellation Policy page. Date changes, guest changes and property changes are subject to availability and may change the price.

If something goes wrong

Tell us as soon as possible if something is not right, so we have a fair chance to put it right during the stay. We are not responsible for interruptions outside our reasonable control, such as community utility failures, local road works, extreme weather, official restrictions or third-party service outages, but we will help where we reasonably can.
