Stayzia started in 2019 with one apartment in Marbella’s Old Town and a simple irritation: holiday rentals had become a game of middlemen. Agencies listing homes they’d never visited, platforms stacking fees on both sides, guests arriving to a lockbox and a laminated sheet.
So we did the unfashionable thing and stayed small. Some homes in the portfolio are ours; others belong to owners who trust us to run them properly. Either way, we choose the homes, set the standards, manage the details, and meet guests ourselves. When the website says the pool is heated in October, it’s because we have checked it ourselves.
Today the portfolio runs from a five-bedroom villa on the Golden Mile to a two-bedroom apartment under the orange trees of the Casco Antiguo — 6 homes, 24+ reviewed stays at an average of 4.8stars. We’d rather add one right home a year than ten easy listings.
