Villa Alazán
Five bedrooms, a 14-metre pool and the sea at the end of the garden path
Villa Alazán sits a few minutes' walk above the beach clubs of Marbella's Golden Mile, behind a quiet screen of umbrella pines. The house was rebuilt in 2023 around one idea: every main room should open onto the garden. Mornings here start on the south terrace with coffee and a view of the sea; evenings end at the outdoor kitchen, with La Concha turning pink behind you. It sleeps ten comfortably without anyone queuing for a bathroom.

The ground floor is one continuous space — kitchen, dining and two seating areas — with five-metre glass doors that slide fully away on both sides, so the pool terrace becomes part of the room. The kitchen is properly equipped for people who actually cook: induction range, two ovens, wine fridge, and enough plates and glasses for a dinner party of fourteen.
Four of the five bedrooms are upstairs. The main suite takes the south-east corner, with a dressing room, a bath with a sea view, and its own terrace. The fifth bedroom is on the garden level with twin beds and a wet room, which works well for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.
Outside, the 14-metre pool is heated from October to April, the lawn is flat and genuinely usable for kids, and the dining pergola seats twelve under wisteria. There is level parking for three cars behind gates. Marbella's seafront promenade — flat all the way to Puerto Banús in one direction and the Old Town in the other — is a six-minute walk downhill.
Stayzia manages this house directly. Our local team handles every arrival in person, trusted housekeepers look after it year round, and a guest manager is on WhatsApp throughout your stay.

Where you are
The Golden Mile is the four-mile run of coast between Marbella's old town and Puerto Banús, and it is where the town's reputation was made. The Marbella Club opened here in 1954, Puente Romano followed, and the strip between them filled with low white villas, beach clubs and umbrella pines, with the gated hills of Sierra Blanca rising behind and La Concha above everything. It is not really a neighbourhood — it is an address, and the most reliably expensive one on the Costa del Sol. What you get for that is a flat seafront promenade you can walk for an hour in either direction, restaurants you would otherwise need a Michelin guide to assemble, and the sea always two minutes from your breakfast table. Holiday rentals on the Golden Mile are dominated by villas rather than apartment blocks, which keeps the whole stretch quiet at night in a way Puerto Banús never is. Our villa here, Villa Alazán, sits a six-minute walk above the beach near El Ancla, close enough to walk to dinner at Puente Romano and far enough back that you sleep to nothing louder than the pines.

Guests on Alazán, verbatim
★★★★★
“We were three families and the house swallowed us easily. The walk down to the beach with kids was genuinely five minutes. María from Stayzia checked us in and sorted a paella chef for our last night — best meal of the trip.”
★★★★★
“Booked for a golf week in October. Pool was warm, the garden gets sun all day, and having three cars off the street mattered to us. Communication on WhatsApp was instant, every time.”
★★★★★
“The photos undersell the outdoor kitchen. We barely ate inside all week. Only note: bring pool shoes for the walk to the beach in August, the pavement gets hot.”
★★★★★
“Beautiful, spotless, and the beds are excellent. The fifth bedroom is smaller than the others, which is the only reason for four stars — fine for the teenagers though.”
